YouTube API Disclosures

NextBlitz uses YouTube API Services. By enabling YouTube features, you also agree to:

What we access and scopes

  • Scopes: youtube.readonly and yt-analytics.readonly for read-only channel, video, metadata, and analytics access.
  • Data: channel metadata, video metadata, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, publish dates, comments on your own videos, and YouTube Analytics reports/performance patterns if granted/available.
  • Use: channel-aware ideas, scripts, titles, packaging feedback, analytics, and insights.
  • No write actions: We do not upload videos, edit videos, delete videos, or change channel settings.

Retention

  • OAuth tokens: encrypted at rest and retained until you disconnect YouTube, revoke access, or delete your account.
  • Cached analytics/metadata: refreshed or deleted at most every 30 days and purged when you disconnect YouTube.
  • Derived outputs you create (ideas, scripts, reports): kept until you remove them or delete your account.

Deletion and revocation

  • Revoke access: Use Google's security settings here: myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  • Disconnect in NextBlitz: Go to Settings - Integrations and choose Disconnect YouTube. This removes stored YouTube OAuth tokens, clears the active channel connection, and deletes cached YouTube data for that connection.
  • Full account deletion: Use Settings - Privacy & Data when signed in, or visit /legal/data-deletion for instructions.
  • API endpoint: /api/account/delete (authenticated).
